#TexasHockey We like to have fun here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Official Facebook page of the Dallas Stars The Corporation is formed for the following purpose or purposes:(a) The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or any corresponding section(s) of any future Federal tax code (the “Code”), including, for such purposes, the making of contributions to or otherwise supporting charitable organizations, including those that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c) of the Code. Specifically, the Corporation is dedicated to (i) supporting other charitable organizations through providing financial support, event participation and lending the talents and ambassadorship of the Corporation’s participants, (ii) providing consulting and financial support to former players (and their immediate family members) of the National Hockey League (the “NHL”) in need of assistance, (iii) building relationships with current and former NHL players to develop role models for the community and foster support for charitable causes and the Corporation’s activities, (iv) providing a vehicle for the Corporation’s participants to support and promote youth hockey in the Texas region; (v) fostering fellowship among the Corporation’s supporters and participants through community involvement and continued public visibility of the Corporation’s participants, and (vi) celebrating Dallas Stars professional hockey history in the Texas region.(b) No part of the net earnings of the Corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its members, trustees, officers or other private persons, except that the Corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth in the purpose clause hereof. No substantial part of the activities of the Corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the organization shall not participate in or intervene in (including the publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. Notwithstanding any other provision of this document, the Corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on (i) by an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Code, or (ii) by an organization, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c)(2) of the Code.
