The San Antonio Philharmonic's mission is to enrich the San Antonio community through innovative and relevant concert and music education programming, and community engagement events. As tenets of this mission: • We acknowledge the legacy of composers and artists from the past and present who bring a genre of music that resonates with shared human experiences throughout history; • We strive to design programming that represents the rich history, culture, and diversity of the San Antonio community; • We are committed to engaging San Antonio’s children in music education programs that inspire life-long pursuits in music-related activities that can enrich and empower their lives; and • We are passionate about presenting this programming at our highest artistic capacity.
