Getaway Drop in

We are a peer support, mental health recovery center serving the Alger county area. We are located in Munising, MI. We are a peer-run organization that helps people diagnosed with a past or present mental health condition. No one should have to face a mental illness alone. Our organization's main mission is to support and serve the needs of people who are going through a mental health illness. People need to have interaction with others to grow and live. People need someplace to go where they feel safe. We work hand in hand with our local community mental health faculty. We try to instill a sense of family. Here you will get a sense of family, of a home. We encourage people to come in and share their lives, their successes, and their challenges. I don't know of anywhere else you can find the same unconditional acceptance and support as the center provides.
