We’re bringing live music to the @usbotanicgarden every third Thursday this summer! Enjoy these local musicians and treat yourself to a mocktail from @vintageviewsbar or ice cream from @heresthescoopdc! Admission is free and tickets are not required. June 19th: @districtstrings A trio of classically trained string musicians who will be playing a variety of pop covers this evening, including artists like ABBA, Queen, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Harry Styles. July 17th: @thebandpineapple A mixture of covers and originals with powerful pop & bluesy melodies over Bossa nova & funk grooves   August 21st: @tornadorosemusic Upbeat Americana and bluegrass band with gorgeous vocals and high flying strings.   September 18th: @trapcellist Baltimore native and DMV-based performer, Chanel Kelly—widely known as “TrapCellist”—is an acclaimed Acoustic and Electric Cellist, featured on HBO Max and Magnolia Network’s, Second Chance Stage.  Her musical range knows no bounds, seamlessly blending classical technique with modern genres to create unforgettable experiences. She will be playing a variety of R&B, Soul, and hip-hop on the acoustic cello for this performance. (fb)
