In its 35year history it has grown from humble beginnings at temporary locations in Salisbury churches to a complex of buildings for sheltering and feeding the homeless and for training clients to help move them out of crisis into healthy living. This means housing jobs families united literacy training physical and mental health needs and more. Driven by a volunteer baseof2500 Rowan Helping Ministries has facilities onLong Street in Salisburyand pantries in both theWest RowanandEast Rowancommunities.
