In 1922, a group of friends & neighbors formed the Club to "be a social & recreational center of the PRIVATE CLUB OFFERING SOCIAL EVENTS, SWIMMING ACTIVITIES, RECREATION AND CAMP FOR ITS MEMBERS. SWIMMING AND DANCE LESSONS, COMMUNITY GATHERINGS, THEATER AND OTHER CLASSES FOR MEMBERS. CLUBHOUSE AVAILABLE FOR COMMUNITY MEETINGS, EXERCISE CLASSES, ETC.
