TASP's mission is to reduce animal shelter populations proactively through pet safety-net outreach. Our slogan is, “Supporting animals and their owners through tough times." Locally, we encourage responsible and humane ownership of animals by supplementing the labor and resources of elderly, disabled and disadvantaged animal owners in our NY State Capital District community with free or at cost basic animal support services, spay/neuter, preventive supplies and veterinary care.

The Animal Support Project The Animal Support Project TASP is based in the Capital Region of NY. TASP performs Crisis Intervention and mitigation directly with companion animal owners to keep animals living with their families. In extreme cases where no other solution is possible and space is available we will facilitate rehoming of animals to ensure their best interest. We are the regions ONLY allvolunteer allspecies companion animal safety net.
