Asset Leadership Network

Overview

The Asset Leadership Network (ALN) is a U.S. nonprofit organization classified as a 501(c)(6) business league. It focuses on advancing asset management practices across all industries, markets, and sectors. The network aims to enhance organizational performance by sharing best practices in asset management.

Mission and Activities

ALN's mission is to promote the adoption of the ISO 55000 series of standards for asset management. This includes working with government entities, professional associations, trade groups, and private companies to develop and disseminate actionable information. The organization is committed to empowering organizations to optimize their asset management capabilities, thereby improving strategic outcomes.

Partnerships and Initiatives

ALN collaborates with other entities, such as the Institute of Asset Management, to co-publish research papers and provide insights into asset management initiatives. For instance, ALN and IAM co-published a paper on "State Asset Management Initiatives for Water Systems," highlighting state-by-state efforts in the U.S. and featuring case studies like Palm Beach County Florida's ISO 55001 certified water and wastewater system.

Programs and Resources

The organization offers various programs and resources, including the A55K Professional Certification, which is now available in Spanish. ALN also hosts webinars and publishes newsletters to share asset management success stories and reflections.
