The Andersontown Powwow is two days of family fun, showcasing Native American Culture through dance, music, storytelling, authentic crafts and Indian Market shopping. THIS ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE RECOGNITION, APPRECIATION AND RETENTION OF NATIVE AMERICAN ART & CULTURE. THIS IS DONE PRIMARILY THROUGH AN ANNUAL POW WOW HELD ONE WEEKEND EACH YEAR, WHERE THERE IS COPETITIVE DANCING, PERFORMANCES, CULTURAL DEMONSTRATIONS, THE ORAL HISTORY OF STORYTELLING, GOOD FOOD AND FAMILY FUN.
