We are partnering in Zimbabwe to eradicate the preventable diseases that devastate families to help in the education of tomorrow39s healthcare leaders. Our volunteers began their clinical work in Zimbabwe in 2011 providing screening treatment for the epidemic of preventable blindness. While providing care for these patients it became clear that in order to truly achieve a meaningful longterm sustainable impact on healthcare we needed to expand our focus to include other clinical areas of urgent need.
