Postpartum Society of Florida supports new mothers transitioning from pregnancy to parenthood. We know healthy mothers are the foundations of healthy families. Our mission is to ease the stress of the perinatal adjustment period through parent and provider education, postpartum preparation classes, and new mother peer support programs. Recent medical research suggests that peer support in the postpartum period may reduce incidence of Postpartum Depression & Anxiety by 50% and significantly improve Maternal-Infant outcomes in the first year.
