Last night, House lawmakers quietly passed a reconciliation bill that slashes access to healthcare, food, and basic dignity for millions of Americans—especially LGBTQIA+ people. A last-minute provision now strips federal funding for medically necessary care from ALL transgender people. Cuts to Medicaid and SNAP will devastate low-income queer and trans individuals, people living with HIV, and LGBTQIA+ people of color. And it's all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
