Acronym Ensemble Inc
The purpose of ACRONYM is to perform and record music of the Baroque era at the highest level. The group is particularly focused on lesser-known composers and on giving the modern “premieres" of works that have been unheard for centuries. The arts community and the public at large benefit from the ensemble. While many early-music groups focus their attention on a few staples of the repertoire (i.e., Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Bach's Brandenburg Concerti), ACRONYM expands the repertoire of the Baroque era. The public purpose of this corporation is to provide musical resources to the public that would otherwise not be available to them.
