One way forward is to encourage Hindu faith leaders to seek understanding in trauma-informed approaches of caring for our communities. We encourage temples and mandirs to find ways to connect faith leaders with existing mental health professionals and destigmatize the need to address mental health concerns, especially for men and boys in our communities. This summer, Sadhana plans to continue our work with partners to build safe and brave spaces that uplift the mental health of the Hindu American communities we serve. We are glad to support any Hindu faith leaders looking for resources or to become more involved in this important work. 🕉️ (fb)
