Home - Washington Metropolitan Chapter Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Welcome to the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners ACFE We are a notforprofit professional organization wholly staffed by volunteers whoseprimary mission is to promote fraud detection and deterrence through educational training programs for both antifraud professionals and the interested public. We also host networking socials on a periodic basis which give attendees an opportunity to have informal discussions with one another on topics of interest. Chapter members have a diverse professional background. Some of usare members of the Federal and state law enforcement community andothers provide investigative auditing and consulting services to law firms andbusiness enterprises governmental and regulatory agencies.
