NCGC is a nonprofit dedicated to education, exploration, and collaboration in all forms of glass. The North Carolina Glass Center is dedicated to education, exploration and collaboration in all forms of glass. We fulfill our mission by providing high quality facilities and support; teaching at all levels; innovative approaches to materials, processes and techniques; and a strong emphasis on design and collaboration across all disciplines. We take responsibility and sustainability for energy, business practices, and funding; act as a center of focus for the artist community in Asheville; practice active community outreach; respect the rich tradition of glass in the region; and enhance the Asheville experience.
