Initially constructed in 1921 and later expanded in 1926, Court Street School is associated with the history of early-twentieth century education in Freehold and has long been a major focal point of it’s African-American community. To preserve the structure of the Court Street Schoolhouse as a historic viable community based Education Center. To inspire hope in all children and their families. To provide educational, multi-cultural and historical activities to all in the community. To work in collaboration with other groups, organizations, institutions and individuals to provide supportive services to all in the community. To work with families and schools to enhance educational development opportunities for the personal growth of all people.
