Black Data Processing Associates of Washington DC Metropolitan Area
BDPA-DC promotes expansion of technology with community STEM programs, corporate outreach, and service delivery to underserved and unserved communities within the National Capital Region (NCR). BDPA-DC was founded and chartered by National BDPA in 1978. Founded in 1975, BDPA's mission is to bridge cyber security, information technology (IT) and telecommunications competency gaps with Industry, Academia, under-represented, and underserved communities. Chartered in 1978, local BDPA Chapter goals across the National Capital Region (NCR) are set forth to provide technology training programs with both educational and industrial outreach programs for professionals, young adults, and youth across the Greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area in direct support of economic development, technology inclusion, and workforce development initiatives for "Industry 4.0."
