Join Our Team and Transform Lives Through Equine-Assisted Therapy Seeking: Equine-Assisted Therapy Specialist (OT/PT/OTA/PTA) LifeStriders is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This unique role blends clinical expertise with equine-assisted interventions, supporting clients of all ages and abilities through innovative therapeutic approaches. Key Responsibilities: Administer and develop therapeutic programs, including goal setting, progress tracking, and program evaluation. Provide equine-assisted therapies to clients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Deliver therapeutic riding instruction, ensuring safety and individualized support for riders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement client-centered treatment plans. Support social skills group facilitation, administration, and development Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and program outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PATH International standards. Qualifications: Licensed or certified as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). PATH International Certification (required); additional training in equine-assisted therapy preferred. Experience in social skills facilitation or group therapy settings is a plus. Strong organizational skills for program administration and development. Comfort working with horses and knowledge of equine care and safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, families, and team members. Passion for helping individuals of all abilities achieve their therapeutic goals. Part-time or full-time schedules available.
