| United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties Main menu Main menu Our Impact 9038 people served each month through the Helpful Harvest Food Program 1148706 raised during our 2024 campaign to support local charities in Monongalia and Preston counties 2380 kids receiving free books in Mon County from Dolly Partons Imagination Library WV211 is a collaborative project of the United Ways of West Virginia offering a health and human service hotline staffed by call specialist who can make referrals to community agencies. Last year more than 1000 referrals were made to area agencies. Reading is a cornerstone of early education and Dolly Partons Imagination Library mails one ageappropriate book per month to children ages birth5 in Mon and Preston counties. There are more than 2000 children currently enrolled for the program in Mon County.
