Bear Creek Nature Center was established in 2020 to spread the joy of nature and the outdoor world. BEAR CREEK NATURE CENTER is a private environmental education facility that aims to spread the joy of nature and the outdoor world. Our goal is to teach people of all ages in our community about our environment, hoping that they will cultivate a personal awareness, appreciation of, and participation in the natural world, especially of our native ecosystem.

Our Story We opened in the Spring of 2020 by a grassroots effort from local community members who want to see conservation education remain a legacy in our slice of the Atlanta Metro area. Our goal is to teach people of all ages in our community about our environment so they may cultivate a personal awareness appreciation of and participation in the natural world especially of our native ecosystems.
