A DAY IN MY SHOES

Follow Message Edit

The mission of the non-profit entity, A Day in My Shoes*, is to secure funding to help survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives and those of their families and to increase awareness of the issues of intimate partner violence. This includes eliminating the stigma associated with being a victim of intimate partner abuse through increased public awareness. Funding generated through the photography project will be contributed by the non-profit to an affiliate shelter to provide guidance, support services, and care to families affected by partner/domestic violence. Inkling Writers works with groups of survivors in writing groups that are healing by design and focus on individual survivors' stories.
