Temporary, emergency shelter for homeless women and families. Part of the St. Louis County Continuum of Care. Room at the Inn is a temporary shelter program designed to make a permanent difference in families. Room at the Inn is a 24/7 shelter here to empower people. We help our clients find solutions to their homelessness through education, referrals, and case management. Room at the Inn was founded in 1993 and initially sponsored by the Sisters of Divine Providence. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency incorporated in Missouri. Over the past 30 years we have partnered with more than 50 interfaith congregations representing 15 faith traditions and a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. We collaborate with multiple outside agencies to make needed services available for our clients. ROOM catalyzes to help our community help those who are homeless.
