Arise Citizens Policy Project

The Arise Citizens Policy Project (ACPP) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Alabama. It operates as a statewide coalition consisting of over 150 congregations and community groups, along with numerous individual members. ACPP is dedicated to promoting state and national policies that aim to improve the lives of low-income Alabamians.

Mission and Activities

ACPP's mission is grounded in the belief that low-income individuals suffer significantly due to harmful state policies. Therefore, the organization focuses on policy analysis, statewide organizing, and citizen advocacy. Through these activities, ACPP seeks to equip its members with the tools necessary for active participation in the democratic process, including legislative advocacy.
