May 8, 9, 10 Social Protest Signage Activity: at 2p.m. each day we will join the national protest against the government's current policies & cutbacks by creating signs that will be painted, attached to stakes, and put in the ground in cement. They will be seen by everyone who passes the Urban Art Retreat along 21st street! Everyone is welcome to participate! The signs will show the 3 branches of government- legislature, judiciary, and executive which answer to the people. There will be 3 other signs we will all discuss to see which ones will also be posted! We will paint signs, attach to stakes, dig holes, pour cement, insert signs on stakes. BYOB.
