Home - Norfolk Police Foundation NORFOLK POLICE FOUNDATION Giving back to our community Our MissionDonate Today Message from Foundation President The Norfolk Police Foundation actively supports the Norfolk Police Department NPD by providing resources to support the Community Affairs Divisions public outreach initiatives youth educational camps and police officer morale and recognition programs. We enable the police officers to reach out to children and citizens in the community to build relationships and strengthen partnerships. The Foundation purchases backtoschool items for children ballistic vests and shelters for K9 unit dogs and sponsors numerous events and day camps for young people in our community. Our recently completed capital projects include purchasing two new 15person vans to safely transport children to and from NPD Community Affairs supported events enabling them to engage significantly more children in the community one of our main focus areas at the Foundation.
