Our History The current Northwest Indiana Rugby club is a result of the merger between Illiana Rugby Club which was an amateur Mens 2002 and Womans 2015 USA Rugby Club founded by a bunch of gungho Marines and the Northwest Indiana Rugby Club founded in 1973 as the Gary Rugby Club by a bunch of steelworkers. A Tradition of Team Spirit We welcome members of all skill levels to come and play. The club was created to create a competitive and learning atmosphere for new and experienced ruggers alike.
