Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre
Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre is a nonprofit organization based in Traverse City and serving the surrounding area. About 30 youth company members, ages 9-18, are joined by adult guest artists on stage each season. THE PURPOSE OF THE COMPANY IS TO OFFER EDUCATION, TECHNICAL TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO TALENTED YOUNG DANCERS AND TO INTRODUCE THE COMMUNITY TO ORIGINAL BALLET PRODUCTIONS, FORMAL AND INFORMAL CONCERTS AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TOURING PROGRAMS.
