The primary purposes of the Corporation are the following: • Improve the quality of life in the surrounding community through neighborhood improvement and beautification; • Prevention of crime; • Promotion of the City of St. Louis as a desirable place to live, especially through the promotion of historic preservation; • Assistance in creating community cohesiveness and reducing neighborhood tensions; and • Support various charitable organizations within the City of St. Louis.
