STAR Children's Bereavement Services – No child grieving alone STAR Children039s Bereavement Services Home Camp STAR is a grief camp designed for children ages 817 who have experienced the unfortunatedeath of a parent friend or loved one. It is sponsored by STAR Childrens Bereavement Services and is a weekend long camp filled with traditional fun camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support. All camp activities are facilitated by caring trained professionals and volunteers. Each camper is assigned a camp buddy who is a specially trained mentor that provides oneonone companionship throughout the weekend.
