Founded in 2004 501(c)3 non-profit serving vulnerable populations and families in need locally in the cities of Long Beach and Signal Hill, countywide in Los Angeles and internationally. The organization focuses on research and service projects on educational and healthcare policies and interventions that help improve education, healthcare opportunities, and well-being for underrepresented populations from medically-underserved communities, with a high percentage of the homeless, the youth, and groups from low socio-economic backgrounds. As a research and service organization, AUHS Foundation is recognized and respected for its commitment to the underrepresented, its collaborative approach, and the values of diversity with which it pursues its mission.
