We believe in the value of each person, and are committed to creating a safe place for all. We engage students in educational experiences that lead to lives of service, productive careers, and global citizenship. Our School of Health Sciences develops skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals focused on the needs of Appalachia. More broadly, the college fosters partnerships with neighbors, colleagues, businesses and local governments and searches for creative and innovative ways in which to improve the economic future for us all.
