Many of you have driven past the school, and noticed the recent demolition of Noland Hall. Our families learned of this news last week but our local community has expressed interest, questions and concerns. While this historic building represents years of memories for the Ware community, its continued deterioration has become a growing safety liability for students, staff and visitors. This decision has not been made lightly. Our primary responsibility is to ensure a safe, sustainable, and forward-looking campus environment. This change does mark the end of a chapter, it also allows us to plan thoughtfully for the future use of the space- one that honors our past while serving the evolving needs of our school community. In addition, we have plans to preserve and commemorate the building’s legacy. We know this is bittersweet. However, we move forward with confidence that this decision is in the best interest of our students and school.
