Such a fun night with some of Wilkes Art Gallery’s finest at the helm of tonight’s Open Mic Night!! Forming an in-house band made of long time supporters, the “A-Flats” tonight featured Jim Trice, Kevin Aita, Chris Jordan, Donnie Story, and Mel Jones. Jim Trice is our current President of our Board of Directors, also musician who plays with several local bands and groups. Kevin Aita has served our Gallery in several vital positions over the years, and currently serves as a board member. He is a seasoned musician of 50+ years, and a very talented and well-known realist painter. Chris Jordan is the spouse of artist Hope Jordan, our Artisan and Education Coordinator. Chris is a musician and drummer who currently plays for several bands and is a former recording studio owner. Donnie Story is the spouse of Board Member Beverly Story, and the lead singer of @TinCanAlleyBand . Mel Jones is a superb and entertaining performer, musician and singer in the @tincanalleyband and a long time friend of our Gallery. We are grateful to have Tin Can Alley entertain our guests annually at our Holly Jolly Holiday Fundraiser. Thank you to our performers and all who came!
