Jesuits Homepage - Central & Southern Province

The Society of Jesus, also known as Jesuits, is a religious order of priests and brothers in the Roman Catholic Church. Founded by St. Ignatius Loyola in 1540, our mission is the service of faith and the promotion of justice. We find God in All Things. The mission of the US Central and Southern Province Office is to care for Jesuits and lay colleagues and support and direct the ministries of the Province. We labor as companions of Jesus to CARE for the personal, formational, and spiritual needs of Jesuits and their lay colleagues; DEVELOP & STEWARD resources that will nurture and sustain the people and apostolates of the Province; FOSTER COMMUNICATION within the Province and with the Society and church-at-large; CELEBRATE the ministries, accomplishments and lives of the members of the Province; PROMOTE awareness of Jesuits in their domestic and international missions; DIRECT Province efforts for the promotion of social justice. We are educators, pastors, spiritual directors, missionaries. Our purpose is to do all for the Greater Glory of God under the guidance of the Holy Father, the Pope.
