We are thrilled to announce the opening of Oriole Keber's senior capstone project! Please join us at Public Space One Close House next Thursday, 5/29 from 3:30-5:30 pm as we celebrate Oriole's accomplishments and take in this incredible body of work. Oriology (2025) is a group of works done in watercolor, acrylic, oil, clay, flowers and ink by Oriole Keber. Oriology draws inspiration from emotion, creating vivid pictures with strong elements of flow, bloom, and/or shine. As the suffix “ology” suggests, this body of work was created over Oriole’s high school career at Scattergood Friends School– where Oriole found herself through exploration in different mediums and immersion in community. Through a lens of emotion, she created works that leave bold impressions with color or form. Oriole hopes that people can meet the eyes of her paintings, and leave with the connection of seeing an emotion they’ve felt before embodied in art or gained understanding of an emotion they may have never experienced before.
