🌱 “We are living under food apartheid. ” — Germaine Jenkins ⠀ Germaine Jenkins co-founded Fresh Future Farm in North Charleston to fight for food justice in her community. In a neighborhood with few grocery stores and little access to fresh produce, she helped turn a vacant lot into a working urban farm and neighborhood grocery store.
