Preserving local history. The Osage Community Cemetery is located 11 miles WNW of the Colorado County Courthouse in Columbus TX at the junction of County Roads 205 and 208. The Osage Community Association was founded in 2006 to provide for the care and maintenance of the grounds and to preserve the cemetery as a site of Texas historical significance since its inception in 1856. Osage was dedicated a Historical Texas Cemetery in 2016.
