Dermer Dreams Inc
1 Million people in New Jersey face hunger every day, 300,000 of them are children. We want to change that Dermer Dreams is a New Jersey-based nonprofit whose mission is to raise ONE MILLION POUNDS of food for people who are food insecure in New Jersey. Over the last four years, we collected and delivered 626,713 pounds of food in New Jersey. During our last two Neighborhood Captain food drives in 2023, our students collected 81,250 pounds on May 4th and 111,388 pounds on November 4th. We are so proud to have delivered a total of 192,638 pounds of food in 2023 to the food banks throughout New Jersey. Our unique Neighborhood Captain program enables students to earn their community service hours while engaging in the fight against hunger.
