The CLAH is a professional association devoted to encourage the diffusion of knowledge about Latin America through fostering the study and improving the teaching of Latin American history. The Conference is a nonpolitical autonomous incorporated taxexempt and nonprofit society affiliated with the American Historical Association although membership in the AHA is not a prerequisite for joining CLAH. Note We are now accepting membership renewals for 2025. Beginning in 2025 renewals will be due annually on February 15th and memberships will be for the calendar year.
