JAMES TOLAND VOCAL ARTS Apply Now Apply Now Apply Now JTVA is an Oakland California based nonprofit established to encourage and cultivate through competition and education the emerging talents of singers who aspire to a professional career in vocal performance. IN THE News 2025 JTVA Returns to Valley Center for the Performing Arts JTVA returns to the Valley Center for the Performing Arts on the former campus of Holy Names University in Oakland for the 12th Annual JTVA Vocal Competition Weekend on July 1920 2025. The first six JTVA Vocal Competitions from 20142019 were held in the Valley Center for the Performing Arts at Holy Names University. As HNU ceased operation during the pandemic JTVA temporarily relocated to San Franciscos Wilsey Center for 2022 and 2023.
