Ruggles Camp and Retreat Center Inc is a religious organization owned by the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church engaging in a religious camp meeting held for 12 days each year in July. It also sponsors 3 youth camps for senior, junior high and elementary children and makes the grounds available for other youth camps, retreats, revivals, homecomings, conference meetings and other church sponsored events for donations to cover utilities. The Limestone Ohio Valley Emmaus Community based in Maysville uses the grounds for retreats, called "walks".

Ruggles Camp - Home RUGGLES Camp and Retreat Center Founded in 1873 Ruggles Camp embraces the mission of teaching youth to be effective leaders and faithful disciples. Beginning with Mini Camps for youngsters ages 1012Ruggles offers a wide selection of youth camps and retreats including three levels of confirmation camps for grades 67 grades 810 and grades 1112 each spring Junior High and Senior HighCamps each summer and Youth Retreats. One of their most popular summer programs is Marketplace which annually attracts hundreds of children and adults for a Camping with Godexperience authentically set in biblical times. Located just north of Flemingsburg in Lewis County Ruggles Camp and Retreat Center regularly serves congregations and assemblies of the general areaand beyond.
