Anger can be an uncomfortable feeling. People may tell you that you need to let go of your anger or that it is not justified. This is NOT the case. Trying to fix, soften, or silence anger, rarely works. In fact, it can sabotage your ability to process anger, which you need in order to heal and recover. You are ALLOWED to be angry and hurt by the people that have wronged you. Suppressing the emotion won't fix the problems at hand.
