Washington D.C.’s Favorite Annual Celebration of the South – Nonprofit Organization Taste of the South was founded in 1982 in a dual desire to bring some "southern hospitality" to Washington, D.C., and establish a fundraiser for charities. The Committee is comprised of an executive board and three members each from our 13 states.
