Taste of the South Committee
Washington D.C.’s Favorite Annual Celebration of the South – Nonprofit Organization Taste of the South was founded in 1982 in a dual desire to bring some "southern hospitality" to Washington, D.C., and establish a fundraiser for charities. The Committee is comprised of an executive board and three members each from our 13 states. THE ORGANIZATION RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES ACROSS 13 CHARITIES IN THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES BY HOSTING AN ANNUAL GALA THAT CELEBRATES FOOD, MUSIC, AND SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.
