Atheist Alliance International – For a Secular World
The international organization of democratic atheist societies and individuals AAI was founded in the US in 1991.
It was awarded Special Consultative status with the UN in 2013. MISSION STATEMENT: AAI’s Mission is to
(i) to speak up for atheist and secular interests at governmental and supranational level organizations;
(ii) support and encourage atheistic organizations around the world;
(iii) defend atheists from exclusion, persecution, and threats to their lives.
