Become a Volunteer Welcome to the Bluegrass Parkinsons Alliance Parkinsons Disease Support Group BPA The Bluegrass Parkinsons Alliance is the oldest organization of its kind in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Formerly the Lexington Area Parkinsons Disease Support Group BPA was created because in the 1960sand 1970s there were no support groups little information readily available about Parkinsons Disease and no resources for care partners. Today the Bluegrass Parkinsons Alliance works to fulfill its mission of creating a community of hope and encouragement by providing resources and support services to those affected by Parkinsons Disease.
