Kansas City Artists Coalition (KCAC), a non-profit, artist-centered, artist-run alternative space, presents a variety of contemporary visual art exhibitions. The Artists Coalition was created to change the lives of artists living in the Kansas City region. The Kansas City Artists Coalition's mission is to promote visual arts awareness in Kansas City and the surrounding region, and support the professional growth of artists. In support of our mission we: Foster a climate encouraging innovation and creativity among artistsSupport audiences in their quest for information about art and artistsUtilize the collective initiative and creativity of artists for their own benefit and that of the communityProvide a forum for contemporary art through our galleries, events, publications and websiteChampion the work of local artists and increase the viability of Kansas City as a place for artists to continue to live and workSpread the word about the vitality of the arts in Kansas City and the region,Encourage artists to go forward with their ambitious and innovative ideasSupport artists' work through exhibitions, publications, workshops and grantsPromote the exchange of ideas among artists and their audience in our community and across the US and the world.

MERCH ALERT MERCH ALERT MERCH ALERT KCAC has partnered with Bonfire an ondemand printer to offer some fun merch for the arts lover and KCAC members. KCAC receives an average of 3 from each sale. The experience of working with the KCAC staff on my encaustic collage workshop was wonderful.
