Our Mission: Providing and serving homeless and needy people of Merced County. Our Vision: Homeless and needy people being fed, housed, and transformed through the power of Jesus Christ in Merced County. OUR MISSION IS TO EXHIBIT THE LOVE AND CARING OF JESUS CHRIST; TRANSFORMING LIVES FOR THOSE IN OUR COUNTY WHO ARE IN PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL NEED. OUR VISION IS TO BE THE HANDS, FEET AND VOICE OF CHRIST IN MERCED COUNTY; ADVOCATING FOR THE DISPOSSESSED, BATTERED, HUNGRY AND DESTITUTE. OUR PURPOSE IS TO CONTINUE THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH EVANGELIZING, DISCIPLING, AND SERVING THE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THE DISADVANTAGED. WE PROVIDE EMERGENCY SUBSISTENCE AND REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR MEN, WOMEN AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING SKILLS TRAINING FOR THE INTER-CITY POOR. WE ALSO STRIVE TO INFORM AND INVOLVE THE PUBLIC IN CARING FOR THE POVERTY-STRICKEN, WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL BEING THE RESTORATION OF THE WHOLE PERSON.

Mission Merced Incorporated
The Rescue Mission would like to thank the many men and women who come on a weekly basis to teach courses and lead Bible studies at our Hope for Men and Hope for Women programs. The volunteers give their time preparing, and then teaching, and mentoring. But the value given by these teachers far exceeds the time that they give.
