Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption (SSLR) is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the rescue and adoption of Labradors and other working dog breeds. Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (SSLR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Labradors and sporting dog breeds. Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption (SSLR) is a 501c3 tax deductible non-profit dedicated to the rescue and adoption of Labradors and other working dog breeds that have been abandoned at high kill shelters, are owner surrenders and strays. We strive to communicate for the voiceless by working closely with local and national animal rescues and other groups for the benefit of animal welfare and to promote changes to our local Alabama laws. We dedicate ourselves to educating and communicating on the importance of spaying and neutering your pets to our local and neighboring communities. We strive to make a difference in the lives of the dogs we save and those that adopt them.
