The Nebraska Jewish Historical Society, founded 1982, by Mary Fellman and Oliver Pollak to collect, publish and share the history of our Jewish Community. TO PRESERVE THE HISTORIES OF THE JEWISH FAMILIES WHO SETTLED IN NEBRASKA AND COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA BY ACQUIRING AND CATALOGING HISTORICAL MATERIALS AND USING THOSE MATERIALS TO ISSUE PUBLICATIONS; FOSTER RESEARCH; PROMOTE MUSEUM PROJECTS AND PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CONFERENCES, COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, AND EXHIBITS.
